Old Town canoes

Tradition and technology have had a long and comfortable marriage at Old Town. In 1898 they built their first wood-and-canvas canoe, a more durable, lower maintenance improvement on the Native American birch bark canoe that was its inspiration. They did the same thing with the kayak in 1940, rendering the traditional seal-skin design in more durable wood-and-canvas. The same spirit of innovation led to the introduction of lightweight fiberglass versions of their kayaks and canoes in the 1950s and '60s, and it has continued into the 21st century, as they continually strive to advance the art of paddling through better designs and lighter, more durable materials, like today's PolyLink3™, SuperLink3™ and Hydrolite.

Mad River canoes

Versatile, Touring or Whitewater: Mad River offers canoes in a wider variety of designs than any other manufacturer, opting for the specific design elements that will enhance the design purpose of a particular canoe, whether it be the shallow vee of the versatile Explorers and Freedoms or the shallow arch in the cruising Horizons and Outrage whitewater playboats.

Bell canoes

Bell designs are intuitive. They respond to all levels of canoeists from novices to seasoned 'old school' purists. That is because the hulls are hydro-dynamically balanced. Bell paddlers run the gamut of applications. Families and camp groups appreciate the reasuring feel of our boats, while instructors and world class explorers rely on Bell canoes, day-in and day-out, mile-after-mile. A primary feature of every Bell canoe is the constant radius elliptical cross section hull which means that these boats hold their stability throughout the range of tilt and lean. That covers both kinds – the intentional and the unexpected!

We-no-nah Canoe

Established formally in 1968, We-no-nah Canoe has roots reaching back to the 1950's. Today, We-no-nah is among the largest makers of canoes in general, and is the largest maker of ultra-light and high-performance models. We-no-nah Canoe's guiding philosophy is to match people with their ideal canoe to achieve a comfortable fit and a better paddling experience. For more than 35 years, We-no-nah Canoe has married modern technology together with historic ideals to advance the frontiers of paddling performance while preserving the value of paddling enjoyment.

Pelican canoes

Even though this range of Pelican canoes does not have the highest specifications of others in our range, their very reasonable price allows anyone to start the wonderful pastime of canoeing.

Venture Canoes

We can now supply Venture canoes; these are durable, versatile canoes that are affordable for the family or club.

WaterQuest canoes

Their range includes rugged, dependable, hunting and fishing canoes and small boats. We are starting by stocking their popular WaterQuest 14 and Rogue River 14.

Grumman Canoes

Sometimes we have customers with very particular requirements that are met by a metal canoe - so we offer the well-known Grumman range. These lightweight canoes offer excellent manoeuverability on the water as well as hefty weight capacity. These traits combined with the low hull weight make them an exceptional choice for camping, backpacking, or any canoeing situation where portage is a consideration.
